18 Jan 03 (1.5 Hours)

Finished welding the transmission tunnel. Also welded the rear shock absorber top plates.

20 Jan 03 (1 hour)

Using a 15mm plumber's spring and my workbench I bent the bottom corners in to shape (and almost succeeded in knackering the ends of my workbench).

21 Jan 03 (45 minutes)

Using a plumber's spring again, managed to bend the rear end in to shape (The picture shows an earlier attempt - the bends aren't right and the length is too long)

31 Jan 03 (2 hours 30 minutes)

Cut the curved rear end to size. Welded in place. Cut and welded the 22 mm rear corner supports. (I think these are welded to far out at the bottom, in the book they show them welded next to the curved corner pieces). 

Also cut and welded the 19mm round rear support tubes, (in the middle and the corners.)
