5 April 03 (2 Hours)

Managed to borrow a spare Mig (thanks Euan) Spent a lot bit of time fully welding all the joints on the chassis.

6 April 03 (1 Hour)

More joint welding.

12 April 03 (20 minutes)

Spent 20 minutes grinding some of the joints down in order to fit the floor.

13 April 03 (1.5 Hours)

Welded the floor in place. This had been supplied & cut on a guillotine by Euan  - thanks again. 

14 April 03 (2 Hours)

Made a jig out of MDF to position the front suspension wishbones. This was constructed by following Dougie Well's design that is available at this link  to the Yahoo Locost site mirror 

20 April 03 (All day)

Didn't get chance to work on the car - my wife decided it was time to do the garden in time for summer! We moved in last year and the previous owners had built a lot of walls that broke up the garden too much. They had also laid a lot of stones over plastic and this is causing very bad drainage problems.

My pal Graham helped rip up the slabs and knock down the walls. He also let me load his people carrier up with the rubble to take to the tip. Before picture shown below:

Yet more gardening! (by my self this time). Managed to remove all the unwanted walls, slabs and stones. Started shift the levels. 

I now need to get a rotavator on it, add some extra top soil and lay the turf.
